Meet the Trainer

About Me:

I started Uplift Training in January of 2025, bringing along two decades of my own athletic and training experience.

I grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football. Excelling in all 3, I eventually decided to focus on basketball and continued to play at the collegiate level at Benedictine University. I was a three year starter and two-time team captain. I also still rank on the all-time leaders in a few statistical categories, but am most proud of the 54-6 record the team amassed during my junior and senior seasons as team captain. In 2016 our team went 31-1, going undefeated until the national championship.

I’m still active as an athlete, competing in the sport of Muay Thai. I have compiled a 17-6 (1-1 pro) overall record, highlighted by 8 amateur national championships, and a bronze medal in the 2023 IFMA World Championships. Most recently, I scored a first round KO of the #12 WBC world ranked heavyweight on Prime Fight Promotions 23. I will fight again October 18, 2025 on Freedom Fighter Promotions for their United States professional Cruiserweight championship.

As a coach, I spent three years coaching youth basketball and another three coaching at the collegiate level. I have spent the last seven years as a strength coach in the team setting working with some excellent programs and athletes through Benedictine University and Uno Volleyball club.

I am also going on my 4th year in the realm of personal training. I am most proud of the diversity amongst the people I have been able to help. From division 1 athletes to grandparents, everyone gets stronger with Uplift Training!

Outside of work and training, I spend most of my time with my beautiful family! My wife Jenna and I have been married for 7 years and have four kids, Brody, Harper, Avery, and Ronin.
